Law enforcement agencies have organized an investigation into the accident of two planes at Sheremetyevo Airport. This was announced on September 25 by the press service of the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"The North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office is checking the circumstances of the incident with the Moscow– St. Petersburg flight at Sheremetyevo Airport," the Telegram channel said.

The press service clarified that 84 passengers were sent to St. Petersburg on a backup flight.

In addition, the official representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artem Korenyako, said that the agency would form a commission chaired by the deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Andrei Potemkin. She will investigate the causes of the Sheremetyevo incident.

A source from Izvestia reported on September 24 that an Airbus A330 aircraft operated by Hainan Airlines crashed into a Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft operated by Rossiya Airlines on the tarmac at Sheremetyevo Airport, which was supposed to depart for St. Petersburg. According to him, no one was injured as a result of the incident. The Airbus A330 crashed with its wing into the tail of another aircraft.
