The NPP reported on the transition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to daily shelling of the station

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) began daily shelling the area of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) and the satellite city of Energodar. This was announced on September 24 by Evgenia Yashina, Director of Communications at ZAES.

"The shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the nuclear power plant and the city of Energodar is carried out on a daily basis," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Yashina noted that the situation at the NPP, which is associated with the transition to the operation of backup diesel generators, does not go beyond the design assumptions.

"The limits and conditions of safe operation have not been violated," she stressed.

It became known about the disconnection of the external power supply line from the last one feeding the NPP the day before. Yashina stated that there are now enough fuel reserves for backup power at the nuclear power plant.
