"In Novosibirsk, firefighters from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are extinguishing a fire in the zoo," the agency's Telegram channel says.

They added that two buildings are currently on fire. More than 30 specialists and 10 pieces of equipment are involved in the liquidation.

In addition, the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region noted that firefighters were able to contain the fire. There is no threat of fire spreading.
