The regions of the Russian Federation with the highest demand for new cars are named

The highest demand for new cars in 2025 among the regions of Russia was recorded in the Stavropol Territory. Consumers there are 3.2 times more likely to consider a purchase than the national average. This was reported to Izvestia on September 24 by Avito Auto analysts.

The Krasnodar Region (+82%), Rostov Region (+65%) and Samara Region (+63%) were also included in the list of leaders among the largest in terms of the share of offers for the sale of new cars on the platform.

At the same time, the demand for new cars in the capitals turned out to be lower than the national average. It is 17% lower in Moscow, and 41% lower in St. Petersburg.

"The demand for new cars can be influenced by many factors, including, for example, the peculiarities of the region's economy. For example, in tourist regions, the high popularity of new cars may be associated with a large proportion of residents engaged in the field of "hospitality" — for them, the car becomes not only a means of transportation, but also an integral part of their professional activities," explained Artem Khomutinnikov, head of sales at New Cars at Avito.
