The debt of actor Artur Smolyaninov (recognized as a foreign agent, included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists) in the amount of more than 155 thousand rubles was repaid, the car was arrested for debts. This was reported by RIA Novosti on September 23, citing law enforcement agencies.

It is specified that the enforcement proceedings against the actor were terminated after repayment of the debt. The seized property will be sold if he does not repay the debt.

On January 23, the actor's debt increased by 50 thousand rubles in six months and exceeded 200 thousand rubles. It is specified that in July 2024, the actor's debt amounted to 164 thousand rubles, of which about 100 thousand were loan debt.

Earlier, on October 29, 2024, the Basmanny Court of Moscow, in absentia, chose a measure of restraint for Smolyaninov, who left Russia, in the form of detention for two months. The sentence is calculated from the moment of the actor's extradition or from the moment of his detention in the Russian Federation. On November 3, Smolyaninov did not appeal the arrest in the case of fakes about the Russian army.

In January, Smolyaninov spoke with Russian pranksters Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Alexey Stolyarov (Lexus), who introduced themselves as the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andrei Ermak. In the conversation, he expressed a desire to obtain Ukrainian citizenship "turnkey" for the whole family. He noted that he agreed to speak to the civilian and military residents of Ukraine and promised to do everything for them that "depends on him."

At the same time, during an interview for one of the Ukrainian publications, the actor said that he "doesn't care" even if one region remains from Russia, "and everything else will turn into radioactive ash." He also expressed his willingness to fight on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

In January 2023, the Russian Ministry of Justice added Smolyaninov to the register of foreign agents. And in May of the same year Smolyaninov was included by Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists.
