Erdogan announced active contacts with Trump on resolving the conflict in Ukraine
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on September 22 that he maintains "active contacts" with the administration of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
"We are in active contact with Mr. Trump and his administration to resolve regional conflicts, primarily the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying live on the TRT Haber TV channel.
The corresponding statement was made, as noted, within the framework of the dinner held in New York, organized by the Turkish-American national steering committee.
On September 19, Trump announced Erdogan's arrival at a reception at the White House this Wednesday, September 25. He clarified that Washington and Ankara are discussing cooperation within the framework of numerous trade and military deals.
