The Armed Forces of Ukraine have transferred their OMBR units from Chernihiv region to Volchansk.

Units of the 2nd Battalion of the 144th Separate Mechanized Brigade (OMBr) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were redistributed from Chernihiv to Volchansk, Kharkiv region, to prevent another loss of their positions. This was reported on September 22 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In order to prevent further loss of positions, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine additionally deployed units of the 2nd battalion of the 144th Infantry Brigade from the Chernigov direction near Volchansk," a representative of the security forces said in an interview with TASS.

According to him, over the past day, Ukrainian servicemen from the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade tried to launch an unsuccessful counterattack in the forest near Sinelnikovo, Kharkiv region. By stopping this operation, the Russian fighters, according to the source, blocked not only part of the units of the 57th brigade, but also the 127th separate heavy mechanized brigade in the number of up to a company.
