The musical group "After 11" took part in the recording of the tribute album "Lube 35. It's starting again...", for which she recorded her version of the song "You carry me River". The band members told Izvestia about the song on September 12.

The song "You Carry me, River" is one of the most recognizable Lyube songs. In 2002, the song won several music awards at once — "Song of the Year 2002" and "Chanson of the Year". In addition, she became the hallmark of the series "Border. Taiga Romance", directed by Alexander Mitta.

"Alexander Naumovich's work has certainly influenced my attitude to life and work. There is so much true heroism in them, and at the same time there is a lot of love and self-denial, but without loss of human dignity. I am grateful to this wonderful director for our joint work for the series "Border. Taiga Novel", after which the Lyube group had the song "You Carry Me, River" based on his poems," shared People's Artist of Russia, composer Igor Matvienko.

He recalled that the American singer Beyonce was suspected of having "plagiarized" this song — she has a composition that sounds very similar.

"It's a good song. As for the plagiarism story, we Russians tend to be forgiving. However, I think that Beyonce does not even suspect the existence of the Lube ensemble, since it is not she who writes the songs, but the authors," said Nikolai Rastorguev, the leader of Lube.

He suggested that "You carry me, river" was heard somewhere by the authors of the American singer's compositions.

"I am very glad that we had the opportunity to participate in the tribute and perform this particular song, because there are many songs, but this is where the specifics of our band "After 11" are taken into account — there is an opportunity to decompose into voices. When we found out that "You Carry Me, River" was available for the tribute, we were very happy," said the band's vocalist Yuri Postarnakov.

He also thanked the leader of the Lube group, Nikolai Rastorguev, for his unique talent.

In turn, the band's guitarist Nikolai Feoktistov noted that for him "Lube" has always been associated with childhood. According to the musician, at the moment of listening to their songs, landscapes of rivers, valleys and expanses of his Homeland appear in his head. He started listening to the band's songs on a cassette recorder and sang along. "Lube" inspired Feoktistov to connect his life with music.

The group "After 11" was formed by students of the Saratov State Conservatory named after Sobinov. Their repertoire consists of rousing compositions combined with deep male lyrics. The band boldly embodies folk songs in their author's interpretation.

Singer Larisa Dolina also participated in the recording of the album, for which she recorded her version of the song "Atas". On September 8, she wished the leader of the Lyube group long years of life, profession and "widespread sales."

Prior to that, on August 15, singer Lyubov Uspenskaya recorded her version of the song "The Guitar Sings" for the tribute album on August 15. It was noted that the experiment turned out to be a success for the singer — the song added drama and nostalgia to the golden standard of the sound of Uspenskaya's vocals.
