49 Palestinian refugees arrived in Makhachkala, including children. This was announced on September 22 in the press service of the Nasha National Television channel (NNT).

"Thanks to the help of the Russian authorities and the support of charitable foundations, the displaced persons were placed at the Karaman-2 recreation center. Children and adults are already starting to settle into a new place," the Telegram channel says.

The press service clarified that the refugees were able to take only their lives with them, it was impossible to take their personal belongings.

In addition, the Palestinians expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin and all those who care, including Dagestanis, for the opportunity to leave Gaza.

Earlier, on September 19, more than 50 Russians evacuated from the Gaza Strip returned to Russia. It is specified that 10 people from the arrived group will go to St. Petersburg. Other destinations include Ivanovo, Arkhangelsk, and Ingushetia. Most of them — 34 refugees — will go to Makhachkala.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
