On September 26-28, the Znanie Society, with the support of the Rosatom State Corporation, will hold the Znanie federal educational marathon.The first, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry. The lecturers will be government and public figures, business leaders, scientists, athletes, Heroes of the Russian Federation, masters of culture and art. They will tell schoolchildren and students about the importance of the nuclear industry for the country, about the scientific exploits of Soviet and Russian scientists, and also reveal the prospects for the future.
Marathon Knowledge.The first will cover the whole country: residents of Moscow, Grozny, Donetsk, Krasnoyarsk, Naryan-Mar, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, Tver, Khabarovsk and Chelyabinsk will be able to join the new knowledge. On the first day, lecturers will meet with young people in 10 Russian cities, the event will be held in Saransk on September 27, and in the pavilion "Russia — My Story" at VDNH in Moscow, the program will last for three days — from September 26 to 28. The marathon will be included in the program of the World Atomic Week international forum and will become one of the key events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry in Russia.

Moscow youth will meet with prominent statesmen, young scientists, famous writers and musicians. Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee, will share his opinion on the importance of sport for the man of the future. Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, will talk about the medicine of the future. Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, will discuss with the guys the prospects for the development of the nuclear industry in the Arctic and the Far East. Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, will tell you why Rosatom is the corporation of the future. Andrey Kostin, President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, will introduce the youth to the banking system of the future. Famous science fiction writer, member of the Commission for Culture and preservation of spiritual heritage of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Lukyanenko will answer the question of how science fiction writers predict future events. Zakhar Prilepin, a writer, public figure, and Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Guard, and Alexander Scriabin, captain of the nuclear icebreaker Vaigach, will share their inspiring experiences.
Valery Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA of Russia) are also invited to participate in the marathon Veronika Skvortsova, four-time Olympic champion, five-time world champion in gymnastics Alexey Nemov, Soviet and Russian scientist, ecologist and biogeographer, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Biography at the Geographical Faculty of Moscow State University. On the eve of the marathon, from September 15 to 30, a series of lectures dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry will be held as part of the "Share your Knowledge" campaign. They will be united by the theme track "Everything starts with an atom". Each educator will be able to select material from the catalog on the campaign's website and deliver a speech to his audience. Among the topics: "Peaceful Atom", "Computer in a Cube: how Russian scientists create technologies capable of modeling the future", "Nuclear technologies: innovations capable of transforming our future", "Era of Nuclear Medicine", "Nuclear icebreakers of Russia". Participants are also offered a quiz "An atom in my life: from history to the present day."
The marathon program is complemented by two special formats. A themed game dedicated to the nuclear industry will be held on September 23 and will be included in the qualifying stage of the Znanie Tournament.Game: Schools and colleges, organized by the Znanie Society. Also, on the eve of the marathon, career guidance classes "Russia — My Horizons" were held in all regions of the country, which were dedicated to professions in demand in the nuclear industry.
