In the summer of 2025, a new trend was observed in carsharing — Russians switched from spontaneous trips to conscious planning. They plan routes in advance, book cars a few days in advance, and more often choose long trips around the country. Delimobil analysts told Izvestia about this on September 23.

According to the company, the peak of summer activity of carsharing users occurred in June, and they made the most trips on Fridays — many preferred to start the weekend earlier and leave the city. Sunday is in second place (drivers are returning home), Saturday is in third place.

On average, one trip took 52 minutes and was 29 km. Most often, users chose Geely Coolray, Kia Rio X, Haval Jolion and Exeed LX cars. The service was most popular in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Samara and Yekaterinburg.

The longest trip lasted 13.6 thousand minutes— which is 9.5 days of continuous rental, and the longest stretched for 9 thousand km, which is equal to the distance from Moscow to Vladivostok. It is noted that users began to choose carsharing more often for trips between cities, most actively they moved between Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Ufa and Tula. Many people booked cars on average three days before the start of the rental. In the summer, users of the service traveled a total of 275 million km.

Earlier, on September 10, Citydrive told Izvestia that the number of items left in carsharing cars varies from 250 to 300 units per month. These are usually documents, keys, headphones, and hats, but there are also unusual items. This year, users have, among other things, forgotten the orange-colored cash register, the remote control from the barrier, ski poles, and even the window sill in their cars.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
