The opera "Eugene Onegin" will be performed at the Chechen Philharmonic
Tchaikovsky's opera "Eugene Onegin" conducted by Felix Korobov will be performed on the stage of the Chechen State Philharmonic named after A. Shakhbulatov on September 27. This is a vintage performance by the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater, said its director Andrey Borisov at a press conference dedicated to the opening of the All-Russian Federation Festival of National Theaters.
Borisov noted that the choice of this work was not accidental. "Eugene Onegin" is not only the flagship of the Russian opera, but also of our theater, dating back to its historical origins. The legacy of Pushkin and Tchaikovsky is a cultural code that unites all citizens of our huge multinational country," he stressed.
The key parties are Natalia Petrozhitskaya (Tatiana), Dmitry Zuev (Onegin), Vladimir Dmitruk (Lensky).
At the opening ceremony of the Federation Festival, Borisov was awarded a certificate of honor from the Government of the Chechen Republic for his services to the development and preservation of theatrical art in the region and his many years of creative activity.
"The mission of our theater is to invest in the regions of our Homeland," Borisov said.
The theater's tours are supported by the Moscow Department of Culture and the Ministry of Culture of the Chechen Republic.
The Federation Festival, established by the Union of Theatrical Figures of Russia, takes place in Grozny from September 21 to 29. It aims to strengthen cultural ties between the country's regions and showcase the wealth of national theatrical art. The performance "Hamlet" by the Chechen State Drama Theater named after Khanpasha Nuradilov was shown as part of the festival. The Federation Festival is supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
