- Lip reader told the details of the conversation between Trump and Musk at Kirk's farewell
A lip-reading expert has revealed details of a conversation between US President Donald Trump and American billionaire Elon Musk during a farewell ceremony for conservative activist Charlie Kirk. This was reported on September 21 by the British newspaper Daily Mail.
"Trump asked, 'How are you?' when he turned to Musk to greet him. Then Musk seemed to shrug his shoulders, and Trump said, "So, Elon, I heard you wanted to talk," lip reader Nicola Hickling said.
After that, the president of the UFC championship, Dana White, also joined the conversation, and Trump suggested that the billionaire establish relations after the conflict.
"Let's try to find a way to fix the situation," the US president said.
It is clarified that Musk responded with a nod to this proposal. Trump also said that he missed the entrepreneur.
Kirk's farewell ceremony is taking place at the State Farm in Arizona. There was a queue of thousands in front of the building. Some Americans also came from other states to honor the memory of the murdered activist.
Kirk died on September 10 as a result of an assassination attempt committed at the time of his speech at the University of Utah. He played a key role in Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential election.
On September 16, suspect Tyler Robinson was formally charged with serious murder, intentionally or knowingly causing Kirk's death in circumstances that pose a significant risk of death to others. The next day, he appeared in court for the first time via video link and spoke only once — when he was asked to introduce himself.
