WP has learned about the intention of the United States to make a statement on the causes of autism in children

The US authorities intend to announce the effect of taking acetaminophen (paracetamol) during pregnancy on the risk of developing autism in children. This was reported on September 21 by The Washington Post (WP).

"Federal health authorities are expected to express concern about the use of acetaminophen by pregnant women, the active ingredient of the drug Tylenol and one of the most common drugs in the world," the publication says.

The country's leadership also intends to promote the drug leucovorin as a potential treatment for autism.
