US President Donald Trump has made a statement that he hates his opponents, unlike Charlie Kirk, a political activist who died in an assassination attempt. He announced this on September 22 at the farewell ceremony for Kirk at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

"He [Kirk] didn't hate his opponents and wanted the best for them. I didn't agree with Charlie about that. I hate my opponents and I don't wish them all the best," the American leader said.

Trump also added that Kirk sought to convince everyone of good, correct and genuine ideas and principles.

Kirk died on September 10 after an assassination attempt during a speech at the University of Utah. He played a key role in Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 election. The suspect, Tyler Robinson, was charged with capital murder on September 16. The next day, he appeared in court for the first time via video link, uttering only one word, introducing himself at the request of the judge.

It was reported that on September 21, Trump flew to Arizona, where a public farewell ceremony is taking place.

He called Kirk the brightest light of our time, a giant of his generation and a devoted husband, father, son, Christian and patriot.
