The southern group has taken more advantageous positions and frontiers. The enemy's losses in the group's area of responsibility amounted to up to 220 military personnel, an American-made M-113 armored personnel carrier, two armored fighting vehicles, 11 pickups and five guns. Electronic warfare stations were destroyed, as well as four ammunition depots and a fuel depot.

"Units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses, defeating formations of two mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the air defense brigade and the National Guard brigade in the areas of the settlements of Novovasilevskoye, Uspenovka, Poltavka, Novogrigorovka of the Zaporizhia region and Novonikolayevka of the Dnipropetrovsk region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

Tactical aircraft, attack UAVs and artillery defeated the launch sites of long-range drones, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian formations and mercenaries in 138 districts. The forces of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed two unmanned enemy boats, and air defense systems shot down 65 drones.

Since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 85,483 unmanned aerial vehicles, 628 anti-aircraft missile systems, 25,198 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,592 multiple launch rocket systems, 29,777 field artillery guns and 42,309 units of special military vehicles.
