President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said on September 20 that the Kiev authorities were developing plans to prepare a new exchange of prisoners of war with Russia.

"We want to pick up 1,000 people, we are working on lists," the Ukrainian newspaper quoted him as saying "Страна.иа ".

It is noted that the head of state also acknowledged that there is currently no progress on the issue of a new meeting between the delegations of Ukraine and Russia to discuss the settlement of the conflict.

After their release, they thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Defense Ministry for organizing the exchange.
