A candidate for deputy accused of justifying terrorism was arrested in Komi
A resident of Ukhta, Komi Republic, was arrested on charges of publicly calling for terrorist activities. This was reported on September 20 in the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
"The accused publicly posted text recordings and comments on a social network and messenger containing calls for terrorist activities, as well as justifying such activities. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to the accused," the department's Telegram channel says.
According to TASS, citing a law enforcement source, Oksana Bagirova, a candidate for deputy of the State Council of the Republic from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, is acting as the accused.
