Two people died during repairs at a school in the east of Moscow

Two people were killed and one injured during repairs at a school in eastern Moscow. This was announced on September 20 by a source of Izvestia.

The incident occurred at the school on Znamenskaya Street, 12/4. During the renovation, four flights of stairs collapsed in the building, and workers were trapped under the rubble.

The exact number of victims is still unknown. Presumably, six people could be under the rubble.

Earlier, on September 9, four construction workers died as a result of falling from a height at the construction site where the National Museum of Buryatia is being built. According to the governor of the region Alexey Tsydenov, the weather conditions for construction work in the region are now extremely unfavorable due to heavy precipitation. He called on construction industry workers to pay special attention to the organization of the technological process and strict observance of all safety measures.
