Two people were killed and 12 injured when two wagons and a laying crane came down during railway work in the Amur Region. This was announced on September 20 by the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
"On the first track of the 138 km PK4 stage of the Belenkaya – Waypost 139 km of the Tyndinsky district of the Amur Region of the Far Eastern Railway, during the movement of the laying train, rolling stock derailed, entering a section with a dismantled sleeper rail and colliding with a bulldozer," the department's Telegram channel said.
