As explained in the North-Western Department of Rosprirodnadzor, in autumn the animals' need for food increases 3-4 times, which is why they come out to people more often. An increase in body fat will give animals the opportunity to provide themselves with nutrients during the cold season.

Wild boars go out for greasing before sunset. They can choose vegetable gardens, suburban areas, fields, and areas located near the forest.

When meeting the offspring of wild boars, a person should exercise special caution, since the female can behave aggressively, protecting the cubs.

Rosprirodnadzor advised to keep the sites clean, put up fences and not feed the animals. This will reduce the risk of unwanted visits.

At the end of July, it was reported that a herd of wild boars roamed freely among the graves at the Kabakhakha-1 cemetery in Novorossiysk. The animals scared the cemetery visitors and prevented them from approaching the graves.
