Seismologists in Kamchatka have clarified the parameters of the earthquake. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kamchatka Territory on Friday, September 19.

"According to the updated data, the seismic event occurred at coordinates 53.00 north latitude, 161.07 east longitude, at a depth of 29 km. The epicenter of the quake was located 162 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky city district," the report said.
