In the Irkutsk region, they announced the search for a contractor for the reconstruction of an interchange located at the exit from the regional center. This is reported by IA IrkutskMedia with reference to the documentation of the relevant auction on the public procurement portal.

We are talking about a transport interchange at the intersection of Kachugsky and Alexandrovsky tracts. It is planned to build a ring road on the site of the current facility. After the work is completed, the new sections of roads will have four lanes each, and the ring will have three lanes.

The maximum value of the contract with the contractor is 5.46 billion rubles. He needs to start work on January 10, 2026, and complete it by October 29, 2027.

According to the news agency, the OGKU Directorate of Highways of the Irkutsk region announced the auction.

At the end of February, it was reported that the amount of funds allocated this year for the national project "Infrastructure for Life", which is the successor to the national project "Safe high-quality Roads", will amount to more than 16 billion rubles in the Irkutsk region. Work was planned on 80 sections of highways and 11 bridges.
