Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has stripped Kobrin's translator of his state award. This was reported on September 18 by the LRT (Lithuanian Radio and Television) portal.

"Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has excluded poet Yuri Kobrin from the list of recipients of the Knight's Cross of the Order of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas for discrediting the title of awardee," the Telegram channel of the broadcasting company said.
