In the Krasnodar Territory, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated a tourist from the Cherkessky pass at an altitude of 1.8 thousand m. On September 18, the press service of the regional department reported.

"On the Cherkessky pass, at an altitude of more than 1,800 meters, a man became ill. A Ka-32 helicopter of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly flew to the site," the message on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Krasnodar Territory says.

It is noted that the doctor on board the helicopter provided the necessary assistance to the man and took him to a medical facility in Sochi.

Earlier, on September 16, in Sochi, a 41-year-old tourist, whose health deteriorated sharply while hiking on the high-altitude Bzerpinsky ledge, was evacuated by rescuers from a height of more than 2 thousand m. It was noted that the woman was part of an unregistered tourist group.
