"Awarding the Fincore Award winners at the IFF site has become our good tradition. We note not only the professional skills of the laureates, but also their contribution to the development of dialogue between the government, business and society on key issues of economic policy. Today, a journalist must not only promptly report news, but also explain complex financial and economic processes in simple language. The winners of the award are brilliantly coping with this task," said Irina Okladnikova, First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.

She stressed that it is especially pleasant to see the interest in financial topics among the younger generation. "This year's student papers demonstrate a deep analysis and a fresh look at modern economic challenges," the First Deputy minister added.

And the prize for the best project on finance was awarded to Evgeny Yudin (Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation).

"Over the four years of the award, we have come a long way: almost 1.6 thousand applications have been received for the award, the regional geography of the work is expanding, and, most importantly, the quality of the submitted work is constantly growing. Today, we can confidently say that Finkor is deservedly one of the country's most prestigious awards in the field of specialized journalism," said Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow and Head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of the city.

Olga Kopytina from the RBC Investments project became the winner in the special nomination "Economics of Life", and Inessa Savinova from the Center for Financial Literacy of the Chuvash Republic became the winner in the special nomination "Improving Financial Literacy".
