Abyzov may be charged in a new criminal case.

A new criminal case may be opened and charges may be filed against Mikhail Abyzov, the former Minister for Open Government. This was reported on September 18 by law enforcement agencies.

"Mikhail Abyzov was transferred to Moscow from a high-security penal colony, where he was serving his sentence under the verdict of the Preobrazhensky District Court. Currently, the convict is in the Moscow pre-trial detention center, investigative actions are being carried out with him as part of the investigation of a new criminal case, in which the ex—minister may become involved," the source told TASS.
