The property of the vice-governor of the Bryansk region, Nikolai Simonenko, was seized as part of a case of abuse of office during the construction of fortifications in the region. This was reported to Izvestia on September 17 in the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow.

According to the investigation, the property of other defendants was also seized.
