The Moscow court replaced the term of businessman Khudoyan with correctional labor

The Lyublinsky District Court of Moscow replaced the remaining term with mandatory work for businessman Albert Khudoyan, who was convicted of fraud on an especially large scale. This was announced on September 17 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The term of correctional labor is two years.

According to the case file, Khudoyan reimbursed the damage in full and also paid the fine. The representative of the pre-trial detention center clarified that the businessman is a member of the economic support unit and has been rewarded several times for his exemplary behavior. The prosecutor's office objected to the satisfaction of the petition, since in addition to incentives, Khudoyan also had penalties. The injured party did not object to the satisfaction of the petition.

The day before, the court was supposed to consider the petition of another defender of the entrepreneur. The lawyer asked to replace the remaining punishment with a fine, but it turned out that Khudoyan did not have the necessary funds, and as a result, the court left the application without motion.

On November 25, 2021, the Koptevsky Court in Moscow found Khudoyan, the owner of Optima Development, guilty of fraud committed by an organized group using his official position on an especially large scale. He was sentenced to six years in a general regime penal colony with a fine of 800 thousand rubles. Konoplev, the former general director of Aviacity, was sentenced to three years in prison with a fine of 200 thousand rubles.

On August 19, 2022, the Moscow City Court toughened Khudoyan's sentence. He was sentenced to eight years in prison with a fine of 1 million rubles.

The court and the investigation established that Khudoyan and his accomplices, without the approval of the founders, through a series of fictitious transactions, issued 100% shares in the authorized capital of Aviacity LLC in favor of foreign legal entities controlled by Khudoyan. They illegally withdrew the assets of the company's authorized capital in the form of ownership rights to a non-residential building and the lease of three land plots in Moscow from the beneficial ownership of Mansfield Executive Limited. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation clarified that the property damage to the organization amounted to over 3.7 billion rubles.
