Mordovian entrepreneurs to compete in "Business Battle"
The qualifying stage of the Business Battle competition, during which the ideas of aspiring entrepreneurs turn into real projects, has ended in Saransk. The participants will receive expertise from experienced mentors, and the finalists will compete for 1 million rubles, said the press service of VTB, which is the general sponsor of the competition.
The Business Battle brought together about 150 projects of entrepreneurs in various fields, including medicine, tourism, agriculture, and culture. 20 participants entered the full-time stage of the competition. They will be taught how to analyze the market, develop marketing strategies, and prepare business plans. The finalists present their ideas to experts, partners and sponsors.
"We see the interest of startups in high-quality business expertise, so this year we support holding a Business Battle in several Russian cities at once. Our goal is to provide aspiring entrepreneurs not only with financial tools, but also with expert knowledge that will help a good idea become successful and profitable. Both the victory and participation in the competition will allow many projects to become even more attractive and expand beyond the region," said Denis Bortnikov, Deputy President and Chairman of the VTB Management Board.
According to the head of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, the Business Battle competition is a powerful impetus for the development of the business environment in the region. "It is important that among the applications there are projects aimed at supporting and strengthening the institution of the family. This is fully consistent with the spirit of the times and the work that we are doing within the framework of the State Council commission on Family. Business Battle will be an excellent platform not only for selecting promising ideas, but also for creating a community of entrepreneurs aimed at making a real contribution to improving people's quality of life," said Zdunov.
The final of the Business Battle will be held in the spring of 2026. The winner will receive 1 million rubles from VTB. The runner-up will be able to complete an MBA program at IBDA RANHiGS. There is also a cash prize for the third or fifth place.
