Two-time European boxing champion Viktor Ageev died at the age of 85. This was announced on September 17 by the press service of the Russian Boxing Federation.

"The passing of Viktor Petrovich is a great loss for the entire boxing family. Deeply decent, fanatically devoted to his sport — everyone who knew Viktor Petrovich always spoke of him with great respect. It is hard and bitter to realize that he is no longer with us," the message on the website says.
