Work on the improvement of the Skalba River began in Pushkinskoye, Moscow region.

Large-scale work on the improvement of the Skalba River has started in the Pushkinsky urban district of the Moscow Region. The gorokrug administration announced this on Tuesday, September 16.

The river's healing process is divided into five stages. The contractor is currently in the city of Ivanteevka, where he is cleaning the river in the area from Lva Tolstogo Street to Khlebozavodskaya.

"In 2025, it is planned to put in order about 2.5 km of the riverbed in Ivanteevka. The contractor has already started work and is working actively, following the scheduled schedule," said Maxim Pribytkov, deputy head of the district.

It is planned to complete the work of this stage in November. In 2026, the four remaining phases of the rehabilitation project will be completed. According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the project includes the removal of aquatic flora, dead wood and fallen trees, and the cleaning of the river bottom from various debris.
