On September 16, 2025, Dmitry Kozhanov, Director General of the Polytechnic Museum, and Evgeny Primakov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo, signed an official agreement on joint work.

The Polytechnic Museum and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) have signed an official agreement on joint work. The ceremony took place at the TASS press center on September 16, 2025.

First of all, it is planned to hold exhibitions "Scientists to the front. The Science of the Great Victory" at the sites of Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices abroad, as well as on information resources. This exhibition project of the Polytechnic Museum, the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center and the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War and tells about the discoveries and achievements of Soviet scientists, engineers, and designers who ensured technical superiority over the enemy.

As part of the partnership, the Polytechnic Museum and Rossotrudnichestvo plan to jointly organize and conduct educational and awareness-raising events, including in foreign languages, for schoolchildren and students living in Russia and abroad. One of the main goals of the joint work is to show the educational potential of the Russian Federation.

"Signing the agreement with Rossotrudnichestvo is a practical step that will allow us to create new scientific and educational projects not only in Russia, but also abroad," said Dmitry Aleksandrovich Kozhanov, General Director of the Polytechnic Museum. — This is an opportunity for us to contribute to the formation of an objective image of Russia as a country with rich scientific traditions and modern technologies. We would really like to show this exhibition to the world."

The Polytechnic Museum is the largest national museum of science and technology in Russia, one of the oldest scientific and technical museums in the world, founded in 1872. There are more than 200,000 objects in its collections, representing rare and unique monuments of science and technology. Since 2014, the museum's storage facility, located in Technopolis Moscow, has been operating in an unusual open storage format: anyone can get there with a sightseeing or thematic tour. The Polytechnic Library is also located there, which contains more than 3.6 million volumes of scientific and technical literature in Russian and foreign languages.

The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) is a federal executive authority dedicated to spreading Russia's humanitarian influence in the world, developing and coordinating international relations and international humanitarian cooperation, including with CIS countries, as well as supporting compatriots living in Russia. abroad. It is represented in 80 countries by 96 foreign missions under the name "Russian House".
