At the award ceremony on September 16, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko instructed the Belarusian military to learn from the Russians, as they "can do a lot."

"Always be on your guard. Today, fortunately, Russians can do a lot. <...> And they are ready to transfer their skills and their training to us for free. We have to learn," the BelTA news agency quoted him as saying.

He also added that at the Zapad-2025 Russian-Belarusian military exercises, the military is practicing "absolutely everything" from firing conventional small arms to atomic warheads.

On September 12, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the start of the Zapad-2025 exercises to counter air attacks by a simulated enemy, in which Russian and Belarusian servicemen are taking part in the Baltic Sea. They will end on September 16.

During the exercises, Tu-160 strategic bombers flew over the Barents Sea with simulated missile launches. The Russian military department stressed that all flights are carried out in accordance with international standards.
