The Russian command is increasingly sending people with survival experience to the area of the Kremen and Serebryansky forests in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces, in an interview with Izvestia, told about the combat work in this area.

The soldier with the call sign Modun grew up in a remote taiga. Once west of Lugansk, he quickly got his bearings and became a guide for his colleagues.

"The forest is the same as in Yakutia, you can navigate there, immediately run, positions there [to determine], everything can be found at once," said the military, adding that the experience of survival helps him to hide, take up positions and give advice to comrades.

According to a soldier with the call sign Grafin, the Russian fighters are making good progress, finding and occupying new positions in the forest. Military groups of troops "Zapad" are scaring the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in this sector of the front with a fiber-optic attack drone.

"Here he has a reel, from which there is such a thin thread, similar to a fishing line," said Stanislav Grigoriev, a correspondent for Izvestia.

This thread sends a signal that cannot be silenced by radio interference.

The day before, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, said that the Russian army was moving AFU fighters to the front line in all directions in the region. Pushilin stressed that the situation in the north of the republic is deteriorating for the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
