MAX has launched the possibility of creating a Digital ID in pilot mode.

In a pilot mode, MAX launched the possibility of creating a Digital ID, an analog of paper documents that allows you to confirm the age, status of a student, parent with many children, and much more.

Identification is confirmed by means of a constantly updated dynamic QR code in the messenger profile. Russian citizens over the age of 18 can create and use a Digital ID.

To create a Digital ID, you must: update the MAX and Public Services applications to the latest version, select the "Digital ID" icon in the "Profile" section and click on the "Create" button, consent to "Login by face or fingerprint", click on the "Go to Public Services" button, consent to the processing of personal data. personal data and confirmation of identity by biometrics — face-to-face or by passport online, take a selfie, get confirmation that the Digital ID is ready.

Using a Digital ID is safe, as it is valid only on the device on which it was created. The dynamic QR code is also updated every 30 seconds. In addition, it is impossible to take a screenshot of a Digital ID — instead of a QR code, the photo will have a white screen. At the same time, access to the QR code is carried out only through Face ID or by fingerprint, and when scanning the QR code, your personal information is not available.
