Zelensky declared his readiness to meet with Putin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared his readiness for a personal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, although he had previously found reasons to avoid such talks several times. He reported this to The Hill newspaper on September 15, citing a CNN correspondent.
"Sometimes we need it (meetings with opponents. — Ed.) it is necessary," he said.
At the same time, he stressed that he wants to conduct a dialogue directly, without intermediaries from the United States or Europe, although he counts on their support.
