Ilan Shor, the leader of the Moldovan Victory bloc, said that the President of the Republic, Maia Sandu, and the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) are reviving fascism in Moldova. He stated this on September 14 in his Telegram channel.

"Today it is very painful to see how fascism is being revived by the efforts of the Sandu–PAS regime. Monuments to the Romanian occupiers are being unveiled all over Moldova, unknown people are painting swastikas, desecrating memorials — the police are inactive," wrote Shor.

He also noted that preserving the truth about the war and the soldiers who fought against fascism is a sacred duty of every person.

Earlier, on September 8, the Pobeda bloc declared its readiness to continue the fight against the Moldovan government. According to the bloc, the ruling regime continues to use political pressure to influence the opposition.

On August 27, Shor accused Sandu of betraying the interests of Moldova. He added that Sandu and her ruling party had handed Moldova over to "foreign bureaucrats from Brussels." He added that they had exchanged the republic for promises and loans and turned it "into a servant of the European Union's non-politicians."
