In Odintsovo, near Moscow, a 17-year-old teenager was hospitalized in critical condition with 90% burns to his body after he decided to make a video in which he stood in the fire. The idea for this act came to him from a Telegram channel called 2347, which promotes the idea of meaninglessness of life among minors. Parents and friends of the victim told IA Regnum about this on September 12.

At first, the incident was called an accident, and the teenager's friends claimed that he accidentally fell into a campfire during filming. However, the extent of the burns raised suspicions that the teenagers were hiding something.

The victim's mother and his friends began their own investigation and soon found out that the tragedy was connected with this Telegram channel, which convinced the guy to go through a "purification rite" by fire. The guy was sure that in this way he would be able to "be reborn."

On the same day, the mother of the injured teenager, Anna, said that he almost burned to death while filming a video clip with friends in the Moscow region. According to the woman, on August 29, her 17-year-old son went with friends to allegedly shoot a music video. However, in the evening, the woman received a call from the ambulance, which reported that the boy was being taken to the hospital with burns.
