The evacuation of people from the cable car on Elbrus, where the accident occurred, has been completed. This was announced on September 12 by the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov in his Telegram channel.

"As of 17:00 [Moscow time], the evacuation of people from the chairlift has been completed," Kokov said.

According to the Izvestia source, 35 people were rescued as a result of the incident. The interlocutor also provided footage of the rescue of one of those stuck on the cable car.
