Nine people were injured in an accident on a single-seat cable car on Elbrus, two more died. This was announced on September 12 by the head of the Ministry of Health of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
"According to operational data, two people were killed, nine injured were evacuated," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that three ambulance crews are working at the scene of the incident. According to the ministry, three more disaster medicine teams have also been sent.
The incident became known earlier in the day. Then the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Kazbek Kokov, said that the preliminary cause of the incident was the cable coming off the roller of one of the supports.
