Foreign customers are showing significant interest in the Russian Be-200 amphibious aircraft. This was announced on September 12 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov during a working trip to the Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G.M. Beriev.

"The company is currently working on the Be-200 remotorization. We are financing the ROC this year, and we will continue next year. We hope that we will finish this work in 2027," the publication on the website of the Ministry of Industry says.

According to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, if a positive result is obtained based on the results of the ROC, production of a production car will begin in 2028.

Alikhanov added that they are currently discussing how to additionally support the plant so that all the tasks set by the country's leadership are completed.

Earlier, on July 23, Alikhanov announced the delivery of serial boards of regional passenger aircraft IL-114 in August 2026. According to him, this aircraft model was inspected by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at the aviation unit of the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg. In addition, Alikhanov noted that the light aviation segment features an all-composite four-seat aircraft for pilot training and tourist flights with a domestic engine developed in 2024.
