According to preliminary information, the air defense forces destroyed more than 20 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the Leningrad Region. This was announced on September 12 by the governor of the region, Alexander Drozdenko.

"According to preliminary data, more than 20 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Leningrad region," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

In addition, he clarified that at the moment, the drone attack continues to be repelled. According to the governor, in Tosno, the fall of UAV debris was recorded on Promyshlennaya and Chekhov streets. There are no casualties. Specialists are working at the scene, Drozdenko added.
