The Molniya-2 crews destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chasova Yar area

Calculations of the Molniya-2 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne unit destroyed UAV control points and infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the areas of the settlements of Chasyar and Nikolaevka. This was announced on September 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Having received the task of using the complex, the paratroopers assembled the drone and covertly carried out its takeoff from a pre-prepared position. Having identified the target, the operator pointed the drone at it, the software captured the target and, despite the opposition of the enemy electronic warfare system (EW), the Molniya-2 hit the target.

"As soon as the goal is reached, we immediately work, quickly work out and prepare the next "bird" immediately in order to work out the subsequent goals that will be given to us after a while," said a soldier with the call sign Kelt.

The new equipment will reduce the time spent by the gunners in their positions.

On September 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) crew of the Aley Guards motorized rifle unit of the Center group of forces destroyed a Shark reconnaissance UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO) during combat duty.
