- The Deputy Mayor of Moscow announced the September campaign "A day without turnstiles"
The "Day without turnstiles" campaign will be held in the capital from September 16 to 20. Residents of the city and tourists will be able to visit various enterprises and organizations, meet with their founders and get acquainted with business processes, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"More than 140 companies will join the autumn campaign, about 60% of them are technology companies. For the first time, the guests are invited by the winners of the "Innovator of Moscow" competition. They will show such developments as a smart lock with a contactless control system and a laboratory for accelerated plant breeding," said Sergunina.
For the first time, the Moscow Planetarium will take part in the action. Experts will talk about projection technologies, instruments and instruments for exploring the universe, and will also show an extensive collection of meteorites.
At the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), those who wish will visit the campus, a laboratory with high-precision equipment for research and student projects, and observe the progress of the Innovation Workshop intensive course.
"Since the beginning of the year, more than 5,000 people have visited the capital's enterprises. About 200 visitors have already returned as interns and employees," Sergunina said.
For example, a multimedia project company has recruited college graduates of digital professions to practice.
Since the launch of the "Day without turnstiles" campaign in 2012, 7 thousand excursions have been held. 440 thousand residents and guests of the capital took part in them.
