Public transport will be extended in Moscow on City Day

In Moscow, it was decided to extend the operation of public transport on City Day — on the night of September 13-14, the metro and MCC stations will be open for entry until 02:00. This was announced by Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the MAX.

In addition, 17 tram routes in different districts of the city will continue to operate until 02:00, the mayor said. 18 regular night routes will operate as usual.

One of the central venues for the City Day celebrations in Moscow this year will be Poklonnaya Gora, where a rich concert program will be held both days. "More than 350 artists will congratulate our beloved city on the holiday as part of the concert program on Poklonnaya Gora. The performances will last for two days— on September 13 and 14, and their total duration will be almost 15 hours. The events are free and open to everyone," said Alexey Fursin, Minister of the Moscow Metropolitan Government and head of the city's Department of Culture.

So, on the afternoon of September 13, on the occasion of the 878th anniversary of the capital, a concert program "Creativity without borders. The Bridge of Generations", there will also be a program with the participation of the winners of the "Line-up Producer" competition. In the evening, a festive concert "Happy birthday, Moscow!" awaits the guests.

On September 14, the Music of the Proud festival will be held on Poklonnaya Gora. The stars of Russian pop, rock and folk music will take the stage: Nikolai Rastorguev and the Lyube group, Tatiana Kurtukova, AY OLA, BEARWOLF, Zara, Akmal', Alexander Stepanovich, Nansi&Sidorov, Vlad Malenko, Chebanov, Alexey Poddubny (Django) and other artists.
