The number of cases of enterovirus infection is growing in the Khabarovsk Territory

Enterovirus infection has become more common in the Khabarovsk Territory. During the week, the number of cases increased by 10%. Experts believe that this is due to the start of the school year and the formation of new children's groups.

They are mostly ill in Khabarovsk, Khabarovsk region and Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Isolated cases have been identified in the Amur, Komsomolsk and Sovetsko-Gavansky districts, IA AmurMedia writes.

Preventive measures are carried out in kindergartens and schools. Some have introduced morning filters and disinfection mode.

But the incidence of acute intestinal infections and salmonellosis does not exceed the long-term average. There are also no cases of high incidence yet.

Since September 4, mass vaccination of the population against influenza has begun in the Khabarovsk Territory. It is planned to vaccinate about 631 thousand people. More than 12,000 people have already received the vaccine.

A large-scale flu vaccination campaign was launched in Moscow on September 8.
