Anti-government protests in Nepal have killed 34 people. This was reported on September 11 by the Khabarhub portal with reference to the Ministry of Health.

"The Ministry of Health reported 34 deaths during the Generation Z protests," the article says.

It is noted that at the moment, 949 people have already been discharged from medical institutions, and more than 1.3 thousand people are receiving treatment in hospitals across the country.

On September 8, the Nepalese authorities imposed a ban on the activities of a number of large social networks that did not register with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on time. In this regard, mass protests began. Nepal's Prime Minister Sharma Oli resigned on September 9 amid anti-government protests. Rioters also set fire to the central office of the ruling Nepali Congress Party.
