The CEC has prepared more than 6 thousand storage facilities in regions subject to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

More than 6.5 thousand reserve voting facilities are provided on the territory of eight regions, which are particularly susceptible to attacks from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on September 11 by the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova, during a report on the readiness of election commissions to hold elections on a single voting day.

"On the territory of eight subjects of the Russian Federation — the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov regions and the city of Sevastopol, 6589 reserve premises are provided in case of emergency situations. I have listed exactly those of our subjects of the Russian Federation that are more exposed to attacks, constant and systematic," Pamfilova said.

She noted that the CEC is trying to protect citizens from attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as best it can, and it is successfully succeeding.

A single voting day will take place in less than 90 days.

On August 20, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova, announced that almost 870,000 voters had applied to participate in the DEG, which will be held in September in 24 regions of the country. In addition, according to the head of the CEC, more than 76.5 thousand people applied to participate in voting through the Mobile Voter platform. It allows Russian citizens to vote at their place of residence, away from home and their polling station.
