Moscow to overhaul one of the oldest music schools

One of the oldest children's music schools named after Odoevsky will be renovated in the Krasnoselsky district of Moscow. This was announced by Ivan Shcherbakov, Chairman of the Moscow Expert Examination, on Wednesday, September 10.

According to him, the institution is located in buildings built in 1905 on Dokuchaev Lane. The overhaul project provides for the renovation of all rooms, the replacement of windows, doors and roofs, the restoration of facades and plinths, writes NSN.

According to the Department of Culture, about 350 children study at the school in various fields, from piano to vocal. Alexey Fursin noted that after the renovation, students will have access to modern classrooms and a computer room for arranging and sound engineering, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
